      產品詳細介紹Product Introduction

      Twelve 3G-SDI/ASI ports for PCIe

A whopping twelve SDI/ASI ports on a single PCIe card, the highest density on the market. All ports are fully configurable from software, in any combination.
Ideal for applications that need a high port count, such as live production mixers.

      Features

      • Twelve fully independent ports, configurable from software as input or output, ASI or SDI, in SD/HD/3G or 4K mode.
      • External synchronization of SDI outputs via port 1 (digital genlock), or with analogue genlock port accepting bi- and tri-level sync.
      • Great support for writing applications with DekTec Matrix API 2.0. No need to know low-level SDI details and no need to be proficient with real-time multi-threaded programming.

      Application Examples

      • Live production mixer with advanced software-based effects, mixing 10 camera inputs to a main- and clean output feed, all HD-SDI.
      • Multiviewer with a mix of compressed (ASI) and uncompressed (SDI) inputs. The hardware scaler keeps the PCIe bus load manageable.
      • Any software application that requires many inputs, in image processing, virtual reality, high-profile security, etc.

The DTA-2179 features twelve independent transmit/receive channels, each consisting of a cable equalizer, ASI/SDI receiver, ASI/SDI transmitter, matrix logic, a high-performance DMA controller and a PCIe interface.

      DekTec Matrix API® 2.0

The Matrix-API framework decodes incoming SDI data into pixels (in a programmable format), audio samples and ANC data structures. When a new frame has been received, the framework calls a user-supplied "frame-processor callback" for processing of the data. The user callback can create output video, audio and ANC data. which is encoded by the framework into SDI frames.

Synchronization of multiple input streams is straightforward: The video/audio/anc data of all SDI frames supplied to the callback function have the same arrival time by definition. Past frames can be accessed by an integer frame index. The framework ensures that if frames from different input ports have the same frame index, they have entered the system at the same time instance.
