ORION®-OTT | Content Monitor
ORION-OTT monitors ABR content, both VoD and Live, using user-defined automated / manual schedules. It checks for inconsistencies pertaining to ABR package compliance, manifest / playlist syntax, download errors, content quality and more. It can also be used for origin server load testing.

ORION®-OTT | Origin Performance Monitor
ORION-OTT Origin Performance Monitor (ORION-OTT OPM) is a passive monitoring probe that is deployed at Origin Server to monitor server performance.

ORION®-OTT | Edge Performance Monitor
Measuring the Quality of Experience (or QoE monitoring) on client devices is an important component of the entire monitoring workflow. QoE provides useful information about real user experience on client devices and provides insights on data consumption trends. However, QoE issues observed on client devices can be isolated and their root cause can be ascertained only when this information is correlated with the monitoring data available upstream at Origin Server or CDN level.
ORION-OTT Edge Performance Monitor (ORION-OTT EPM) is a passive monitoring probe that can be used to monitor service performance on end-devices to understand recurrent issues and their causes. It integrates with NPAW’s YOUBORA to collect and extract vital video performance metrics such as startup time, buffering ratio, number of stalls, play failures etc. across real user sessions. The collected metrics are analyzed to isolate performance issues across various dimensions such as CDNs, ISPs, Country, City, Video titles etc. and drilled down to the root cause of performance issues.

ORION Central Manager (OCM) provides enterprise-wide visibility by enabling central management of multiple ORION Linear, ORION-OTT, EPM and OPM setups present at the same or diverse geographic locations. Interra Systems’ OCM is the only comprehensive web-based enterprise level solution that centrally monitors the health of probes, collects monitoring data from probes, and provides global alert summary across probes to operators for both broadcast and OTT services.
Based on a distributed architecture, where probes can be deployed at multiple points in the workflow, including the origin server, CDN, or at the edge, OCM increases flexibility and ensures efficient bandwidth management for operators by providing the most accurate depiction of quality of experience (QoE monitoring) and quality of service (QoS monitoring).
